Good Morning, Thoroughly Thrilled Thresholders!

And indeed, Folks. We stand right on the threshold of a Milestone, about which we will contemplate after our review of today's numbers.

Days to the Season: 123
Days to Christmas Day: 165

And there can't be more of a threshold than TOMORROW, Guys. which is when we will leave the second third of our Season count and enter the final third leg of our journey.
(Things have really moved along this year, haven't they?)

It was warm and humid through most of the day yesterday but pleasant enough by evening to do some rocking on the front porch as I watched the world go by.
Today will see us in the upper 80's with 90 predicted for Saturday. The chance of rain is about one in five, today.
We are cloudy this morning, with a reading of 71 degrees at this hour.

Good Morning, Christmas friends~

Happy Friday the 13th!!

Needless to say, I’m pretty tired myself. Looking forward to catching up on sleep this weekend.

It’s still storming, and may be for a lot of the day. Luckily, the storms brought in some cooler temperatures.

Some work for me today, and then picking up takeout and a movie for tonight. Hoping to snag “A Quiet Place” if I can find a copy at Redbox.

I'm with you on this one. I have been pushing myself hard all week, got to work, then come home (in the evenings) and try to get things done in the house and because so, I'm not getting enough sleep. That is one of the things that is on my plans for the weekend, sleep in a bit to try and catch up on my rest.

Glad to hear that cooler temperatures have prevailed today for ya all. I hope they come over this way. I not a summer fan, I like the cooler temperatures so I'm already done with this heat, I'm all ready for the Fall.

Sounds like a nice relaxing evening. Don't forget the popcorn!

Happy Friday the 13th!!

Mom dropped Jazzie off last night, and she did really well when she left. She also handled the first round of storms like a champ. I think she was exhausted from the drive up, and walk with Harlowe.

But then she woke up and was a nervous wreck, found her safe place under the bed after a few hours of pacing. Poor girl.

Needless to say, I’m pretty tired myself. Looking forward to catching up on sleep this weekend.

Happy Friday the 13th MMC! Hope it's not an unlucky day for anyone. Another busy day at work but today is Friday and I'm so happy about that. Tonight we are going to head the amusement park Friday Fireworks for the 1st time this summer. And the weekend will be more laid-back and relaxing. Good mixture. Have a great day!

Merry Friday MMC~
It’s going to be cloudy today with a high of 78, we’re currently at 61 degrees. Not too much going on here, I’m just having my coffee and I’m working on a menu plan and grocery list. I’m going to run to the butcher this morning to get that over with, I’ll do the rest of my food shopping tomorrow. I’m meeting my mother for lunch, just need to decide where we want to go. It will be just me and the girls for dinner, my husband is going to a baseball game. I think we’ll order pizza tonight. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a nice day and a wonderful weekend ahead!!!

TGIF, Christmas friends!

It's hot down here, but I'm pretty sure it's hot everywhere right now. I still haven't had a chance to jump in the pool all week. Maybe tomorrow.

My mom and my brother both live out in "the sticks", so their internet & TV come from satellite providers, and not the same providers. Jim got Dish Network out to his house to do some work, but after that guy left, the Hughes Net internet didn't work. It turned out, the Dish guy accidentally cut the cable from the Hughes Net dish. We spliced it, sure it wouldn't work, but it did LOL!

Jim was desperate for internet. His 9 month-old daughter, Rosa, DEMANDS to watch "Little Baby Bums" on YouTube. She's very vocal about it.

Lunch with the office today.
