Good morning, Christmas friends! Got home from our vacation last night around 7:00 and got everything put away. Today will be full of washing, cleaning, mowing, and QVC!!!!!!

We went to Branson and stayed for about four days. We had fun, but my little girls had a blast...which made it double fun for Dad. We rode the roller coasters, go karts, and went and looked at several Christmas shops. So much stinking fun! Those little girls just squealed, laughed, and had way too much sugar.

I'm off...I've got several days of reading to catch up on and I want to try to do it before everyone wakes up...see y'all later!
 
Morning all. Bread was made, laundry was done, did a bit of research for the garden. I was a busy little elf. We had a little rain yesterday, but not enough to cool things down. I know that we're all feeling the heat, but I love the cooler weather. Fall is just around the corner and we'll be more comfortable.

BTW, I picked up a SodaStream. Love it. There are so many different flavours out there to try, plus a few hacks on other sites. So yummy.

We are now traveling through the final third of our Season count.
The year is just starting to dwidle down into a bedpost.

Let's take a look at the dwindling numbers while we are at it:
Days to the Season: 121
Days to Christmas Day: 163

OK, then.
With that marker behind us, we look with great trepidation at the road ahead, fearful of what the next Milestone will be. We ask ourselves, "are we ready?"
Can we take another shock?
We are about to find out.
Because the next marker is the 100-Day Season Window and it is just THREE WEEKS from today, after which we will be in a double-digit Season count mode!
(I'll pause a moment to let you recover yourselves from the shock.)

Time's up!

The weather?
Hot but not overly so.
The humidity?
High, but not unpleasantly so.
The rain?
None to speak of.
The bottom line?
Not too bad for mid July here in NC.
Our current temperature reading is 75 degrees.

Have a Super Sunday and enjoy the residue of your weekend, Everyone!

Merry Sunday MMC!
We’re expecting showers today today with a high of 83 degrees. I’m going to make a Costco run this morning. Other than that I’ll be working on the laundry. I may squeeze a nap in at some point. I woke up around 3:00am because one of the cats knocked a lamp over. I was unaware that a fly had gotten in to the house and I guess they were chasing it around. Nutjobs. Thankfully nothing broke but I had a hard time falling back to sleep after that! That’s about it for me. Oh and dinner will be spaghetti & chicken Parmesan. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Glad you had a good vacation, Friend!! We’ve been talking about heading to Branson next year.
