Christmas Countdown - 2018

Good morning. I decided to take off today and get some extra things done especially getting rid of the pile of garbage in our garage. I was so busy working around the house Saturday, I completely forgot all about it. The transfer station is open on Saturday but not Sunday. I’ve got a ton of cardboard boxes to recycle and bags and bags of trash.

I have to call a couple utility companies, go to the bank to officially change our address (we have to show them our tax bill), order checks and such. Take a bunch of stuff and donate it, and a lot more.

So, even though I’m not going to work today, I still yet have a lot of work to do.

working at the store today.
Still have not picked up my daughters car as there was a problem with a leak in the manifold that needs fixing first. Hopefully it will be done tomorrow.
Going to be hot again today with storms coming this afternoon that will break this 16 day streak of 30c ++ temperatures. (90f ++)

Good Morning!

It's a new week. The first full week of the last third of our Season count.
And hard up on the rail comes our next Milestone.
But let's tend to first business first.

The numbers for the day:
Days to the Season: 120
Days to Christmas Day: 162

And the first number is quite significant because it informs us that we are now UNDER three weeks away from the 100-Day Season Window and the beginning of a double-digit Season count.
(And then, we move into high gear!)

Rather warm and humid all day yesterday, including the evening, making front porch sitting an activity of last resort.
Today we are supposed to reach the low 90's with a near zero chance of precipitation.
The current temperature reading is 76 degrees here to start the week.

Typical day of work for me, my oldest daughter has a soccer game tonight and then she is having 4 of her friends sleepover. I need to run to the grocery store later and hoping to get a workout in too. Hope you all have a great day!

Morning all.

Going out for lunch today to my nephew's restaurant: vegan spanish. Looking forward to it. Low key day today as it's going to be a scorcher. Close to 90 degrees. Will try to stay in the A/C but who knows. The dog is already feeling the heat. He'll be indoors most of the day. :)

Maybe go for a walk in the forest to cool down.

Merry Monday!
It’s going to be partly sunny today with a high of 85 degrees. Typical day of errands and chores for me. I also have to go for a vision screening test to renew my drivers license. That’s about it. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!!!
