Hello all!
Today is equipment handout for Little League Football. I have been spending time getting things ready for that and practice which starts next week.
Nathan is busy packing up his room and getting rid of things. It is finally starting to hit him that he heads off to the Army on Monday.
Our garden is growing nicely. I have 8 pie pumpkins currently growing on the pumpkin vines. I am soooo excited to have them for the fall. I love making my pies and bread from the pumpkins we grew ourselves.
Out tomato plants are huge. One is cherry tomatoes and the other is a "regular" plant. Both are big and producing a lot of fruit. The green beans are growing well too. The zucchini plants are doing ok but being hit hard by the powdery mold. However, they have already produced 4 zucchini and one is really big.
The weather is pretty nice today and they are saying it should be nice for the next couple of weeks. That is a good way to end July.

Glad to hear your garden is doing well! Ours is so full of weeds, it's overwhelming!! But our tomato & pepper plants are doing well & our corn is SO tall!! Enjoy the produce!

Hello!! Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday afternoon! I visited my favorite Farmers Market yesterday and got some beautiful green beans, onions, and cucumbers and then some fresh sweet corn from a road side stand. I wait all year for this farmers market to open, which is in mid-July each year until usually November. I can't wait to go there in the fall and see the rows of pumpkins, bushels of apples, and pots of beautiful mums. I take pictures every year of all of those awesome colors! Since it is CIJ we are having turkey (that I had previously roasted and froze) as well as homemade stuffing and cranberry sauce tonight. It smells like the holidays in here! I am loving it! Hope everyone is having a great day!

Accent? She sounds like we do here in east TN! I love it when, as DD says, "My people" are on tv---we get to hear how we really sound to others!
Aww, poor girl. Hope they heal soon <33.5 hours! Yikes!! I guess caffeine is your friend!! I did bring a Mt. Dew back with me after lunch. I wanted a Pepsi but didn't have any cold!

Lucy is good. I did put some ear cleaner/drying solution in here ears this morning. She's been really scratching at them & they are red. Not sure if it's from her dunking her head in the pool water constantly, or maybe the groomer pulled some hair out last week & they got irritated...or maybe a combo of both! Hopefully she gets over it quick!
We got Lucy some new dog food ~ switching her from puppy food. I think she likes it!!

Jazzie has been going on long walks with Harlowe in the evenings, she seems so much more confident with another dog. My Dad almost fell off his chair when I told him that she's loving her 45 minute walksHe said "Jazzie?!" Ha!
She is almost 14, going on puppy!
When I take her alone (while Adrian is away) she is scared of every noise.
Dinner sounds delicious, what time shall we stop by?

Rocky is doing a bit better on his leash. He seems to want to walk me rather than vice versa lol. He pulls me in every direction. I’m sure he’ll get the hang of it sooner or later.
