The "rainy season" is here and yesterday was no exception, with a brief afternoon downpour.
Precipitation is in the forecast for the next 15 days, according to the long-range predictions. (Subject to change without notice, of course.)
We have begun this day-before-'Pines Day at 73 degrees, under the usual overcast skies.

Not a lot going on here. Listen to Christmas music and maybe a Christmas movie or two while I relax and write.

Football practice last night went well. I am glad it is not as hot an normal, that made it even better.

I have been listening to the Tracking Santa replay which makes me even more excited for the whole Christmas season!

Woke up late today because of the heat. It's very humid but there's a chance for a little rain today. Hopefully. Have to start sorting things out for this weekend. We off to go camping. I've found the sleeping bags, foam liner, and chairs. Now, just to find the tent. While it would be fun to sleep under the stars, I don't particularly want to be eaten alive by bugs.

I ended up watching the cartoon Albert. The story about the little Douglas Fir tree that has dreams of being the Empire city Christmas tree. Cute story and a little predictable at times, but overall a great message for Christmas. Check it out and watch it with the youngsters.

Morning MMC. The humid weather continues. We continue with showers and thunderstorms today. These dog days of summer definitely make me dream about the upcoming Autumn Season. And not far away now (even though it seems it when it's this humid). Just my 2nd of 3 work days. Hope you all enjoy your day today.

I have the windows open at work & I had to put on my sweatshirt!!!! (And I'm smelling the fresh dairy air too) LOL It's been spitting rain most of the morning.

Merry Tuesday ~
It’s going to be humid with a chance of showers, highs near 80 degrees. Just a typical day here, I have to run a couple of quick errands. Other than that I will be working on some chores around the house. I might hang out by the pool this afternoon, weather permitting. Dinner will be tacos. That’s about it for me. Merry Tuesday!!

It’s a beautiful morning, sunny and cool. Warming up today again, but tomorrow’s rain brings in a cool front.

Thursday evening is our annual block party-our Friends Ann & Rob host. Everyone brings a dish to pass, and their choice of beverage. They put out corn hole, a ping pong table, bocce, and have a campfire. Always a fun time! Initially it was a way for everyone to get to know each other since we were all new builds in the development, now it’s just fun with friends. Anyways, I need to decide what to make!

Harlowe had an upset stomach last night, and Jazzie had one this morning-hopefully it’s a one time thing & not something they both picked up. Poor girls.

It’s a pretty normal day here for us.

My moms Amish lady (Mandy) made the best oatmeal choc chip cookies I've ever had in my life yesterday. Of course she used lard... Then she made homemade fresh salsa, which is absolutely delicious....and THEN when I got there last night, she had made lemon meringue pie!!! OMWord... you know what we're eating today. I don't think she's good for us! Ha ha!!

We are on the "Eve" of so many things today, aren't we??
