Did you find any Oktoberfest? I haven't seen any fall beers around here YET!
I love the Lienie's Harvest Patch!!! I just saw they now have a Berry Shandy. Is that anything like their Lemonberry Shandy, do you know? That was my absolute fave!!!!
They didn't have it on tap yet at this brewery.
Yes, Leinie's fall line is amazing!! Harvest Patch Shandy is DELICIOUS!!
I haven't tried a Berry Shandy, but we get Berry Weiss a lot. Could it be that?
We mix that with the Honey Weiss, which is called a "Honey Bear" :D

Lemonberry is great!!

Hello all.

Well another chapter of my thesis is complete. I have one more small chapter to go and then the conclusion. I also need to add a small section to a previous chapter. Then some editing, though I have done a lot of that throughout the process. The good news is that I can see the end!

I got a text from Nathan and all is going well at Basic Training.

It is another hot day today with the humidity rising. Football practice will be rough this evening as a result. They are calling for some storms tomorrow but I hope they stay away, at least away from Berea, Ohio. We are going to the Browns' Training Camp tomorrow but if the weather turns stormy they will practice inside and we will not be able to watch.

We went school supply shopping on Saturday. I can't believe that school starts in two weeks and 1 day!

Everyone have a great day!

Merry Friday!

On Wednesday I talked to the owner of another antique/vintage mall and today I sent a request for a booth to start in September. I so hope I get it! This place lets you put in pretty much what you want so I can put some handmade items and other things I've picked up that was made at a date beyond which allowed at the current place I am at. The rent is reasonable and there is no commission at this time. Having one more place will keeping me hopping! :)

There was a brief downpour here yesterday and today the pond is up almost four inches! YAY!!

Have a merry weekend!
Have you looked into state and county fairs? I have no idea how the daily rent at these events compares with the antique/vintage mall you mentioned.

Happy to hear Nathan is doing well...we have terrible humidity here too. It makes it hard to stay outside for a long time. Hope football goes well!

Hmmmm, that's a really tough question to answer. You know why, wanting to watch a Christmas carol, it's like it's a desire that just comes across me, almost like a certain mood that I am in, that I would need to watch it, but which year of a Christmas Carol to watch, Gosh, I think it just depends on what I am in the mood for.

I like them all (at least all the ones that I have watched to date). The one that I do not think I watched was the version that you and the Mr likes, truthfully, I do not recall if I have ever watched that one. There was a couple that were very, very old ones that was on demand, that I started to watch them a couple of years ago, but stopped because they were is such a poor condition, they were so chopped up and grainy, that I became disgruntled with the film and stopped paying attention to the movie itself and I turned them off.

There was another one I watched, hmmmmm, it was awhile ago, I think it was the 1951 version. I started watching it, but I don't think that I ever finished it.

To date, I think my favorites are, the 1938 version with Reginald Owen and Gene Lockhart, 1999 version with Patrick Stewart, the 1992 Muppets Christmas Carol with Michael Caine, the 1984 version with George C Scott.
1951's is frequently ranked as the best of all adaptations. Give it another shot this season...+j

It's one of my favorites. On top of everything else it has going for it, it has a wonderful background score. I have a CD that includes a "suite" compiled from the recurring musical themes in the movie. I was in heaven when I found that CD!

Happy Sunday!
I wish I could decorate for Christmas today!
But I guess I have to wait a few months....
I am decorating for Autumn though :D
How exciting!! After seeing the fall things my neighbors bought at Ben Franklin Saturday, I can't deny I was getting a little antsy!! Have fun!!!

This, to me, is one of the big ones! 100 days until the season starts....amazing.

Not much going today. Lawn mower is broke, so that is out of the question. Teachers start school tomorrow, so I do need to get ready for that. Not too much left to do, so I might have a fairly laid back day.

Y'all have a good one! Happy 100 Days Until the Season!
Hope the 1st day back for teachers is going well!!!

Merry Sunday, friends~

It’s a hot and humid day here, as well.
We got spoiled with a few days of cooler temperatures.

I am making the trip back home to La Crosse, to be there for my sister and her dog Hailey who is not doing well. She has kidney disease, and hasn’t eaten for five days now. It’s heartbreaking.
She is going to be touching base with her vet tomorrow, and will probably have to make a tough decision pretty quickly. Please keep Shannon and Hailey in your thoughts and prayers.
She lost her other dog, Hunter, only a few weeks ago. So this has been a very hard time for her, Hailey, and my niece, Alyssa.

Adrian‘s Dad is also going through some health problems, it’s so hard to see loved ones struggling.

We had a nice time last night, celebrating his birthday. Dinner was excellent, and so was the time away with our friends. It helped us get our mind off things for a bit.
We also watched the Green Bay Packers scrimmage game on TV, it made me even more excited for the ‘Bers and football season!!

Wishing you all a blessed Milestone Day!!

Prayers for all!!! (((Hugs))) to you, Adi, Shannon, Alyssa, Hailey, Ken & Har!!!

My word, did the weekend just fly by! Goodness, it’s alreafy Monday and my brain is still on Saturday. I sure know how I’m going to feel tomorrow morning trying to get up out of bed and then to also function for the rest of the day; not good.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend!
It sure did fly by!! And I even had an extra day off!! Hope our Monday is going well!!!

Thank you so much, HmG ♥️

I’m really glad I went.
We managed to get Hailey to take the anti nausea pill that has been elusive up until this point. That must’ve done the trick. After that, i was able to get her to eat some treats that I brought up. That was a big deal- Shannon ran to the store yesterday and bought more of them. Hailey is a beagle that never turned down any food prior to getting sick.
And she held it down.
She seemed interested in going outside, so we took her out back and sat out there for an hour.
She drank water well, and enjoyed the time in the shade & summer breeze.
I think it did her a world of good.
Then a vet tech was able to come last night for the first time, and got a whole dose of fluids in her. Shannon said she seemed to perk up quite a bit.
So a good day overall.
Her Vet had wanted to give Hailey a full two weeks to respond to the antibiotics before retesting.
Praying it continues!

xo
That all sounds like great improvements!!! Again - continued prayers!!!! xx

Good Morning! Happy first day of the DOUBLE Digits to the Christmas Season. As the Crowns enjoy their vacation this week Edge and I will tag team to cover the count down.

Hard to believe we have arrived at the Double Digits already but we have.

Morning MMC! 99 days till the season? That is crazy. I saw in the dog store yesterday all Halloween costumes. Everything is coming. It was a very hot day Sunday and will be one today also though. It makes those things seem far away still. Enjoy your Monday!
Hope your Monday is going well!!

Happy Monday!
I start my vacation today and my husband comes home this afternoon. Not too many plans today, it’s supposed to be really hot and humid today so I will be inside for sure..hope you all have a great start to the week!
I hope you are enjoying your day off!! I think if I were at home right now, I might be napping! ;)

Merry Monday MMC!
I was just outside with Rocky and boy is it hot out there. No relief in sight, the steamy weather will continue all week. Just a typical day of errands and chores for me. Other than that Rocky, the kitty cats and I will be hanging out in the A/C. I’m going to grill chicken & vegetable kabobs for dinner. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a nice day and a wonderful week ahead!
xx
Stay cool HMG!! When I was leaving to come back to work after lunch my hubby was heading out to mow. I told him to wait, but he said rain was moving in. Now it says no rain until 8pm. Go figure!!
Hope you're having a great day!!
