Watching a Christmas episode on TV always helps cool you down!! Seems like Hot & Humid has been the theme this summer. We have a nice temperature day today, just very dreary!

Good Wednesday afternoon, Christmas friends!
Jacob seems almost completely over the oral surgery, so we're planning to go out and buy him a new mattress and box springs, sheets and a desk so he can move in with his friends on Saturday. I'm sad to see him move out, even though I know he'll be home a lot. Oh well. It has to happen, I guess.
The local newspaper had a wonderful write-up on Elizabeth and her budding acting career. Nice!

Well, it's been an overcast day today. Rain in the morning that's now clearing up. We had a little surprise last night. Around ten we let out the dog to do his business and realized that something was block the back door. Pushing open the door a little more we found one of our "friends" had left a huge zucchini on the step. I'm talking huge. It was about three feet long and I couldn't get my hands around it. Turns out she had won the zucchini as a door prize, but she couldn't use it as she's going on holiday this week. So she thought it would be a nice surprise for us.
Well, it would have been if I didn't just buy three zucchinis at the farmer's market. I've shredded about half of it, which made about ten cups. So far I've used six cups going into a batter of chocolate zucchini loaf. Four loaves in total. Once they are out of the oven I'll make some zucchini/carrot bars. I may just shred and freeze the rest to have some for the cooler months.
Or I could just keep making baked goods and freeze those.

The best source for 'most any transfer is the original negative; the fine-grain positive was probably used as replacement for any substandard spots in the negative. You can't do much better.
