Christmas Countdown - 2018

The local newspaper had a wonderful write-up on Elizabeth and her budding acting career. Nice!

So far I've used six cups going into a batter of chocolate zucchini loaf. Four loaves in total. Once they are out of the oven I'll make some zucchini/carrot bars. I may just shred and freeze the rest to have some for the cooler months.

Or I could just keep making baked goods and freeze those. +j

We had a strong storm pass through last night, the lightening was amazing. It’s hot & humid again and we’re expecting more storms. I don’t have too much planned. I’m going to take a ride to the pasta shop to get fresh raviolis. I already fried meatballs and have a pot of sauce simmering. I have to stop at the pet store as well. Morning MMC! Feel the summer sizzle cause it still feels real warm and humid out there. Should have a decent day though otherwise. And I know we all start thinking weekend thoughts on Thursdays. 2 weeks from today I'll be on my final little summer vacation. I hope you all have a great Pre-Friday!
 
Good Morning .... really starting see more Fall and Halloween items popping up in the stores. It's getting exciting to see it all. Just wish the heat and humidity would give already but i guess it will not be much longer before they give way to those cool crisp days.

Happy Thursday MMC!
It’s going to be warm & humid, highs near 90 degrees. Not too much planned for today, I don’t have any errands to run which doesn’t happen too often. I’ll just be working on some chores around the house. I might dye my hair as well, I’m due for a touch up. My girls are getting together later tonight to go out for dinner at a local Mexican restaurant. So it will just be my husband and I for dinner, I’m going to make a buffalo chicken salad with blue cheese dressing. That’s it for me. I hope everyone is well. Have a great day!!!
