Anyone made Halloween plans yet?

what are you guys doing this year?

i am doing the same as last year, taking 2 of my younger cousins to the cinema, which is in a lovely little village near to where i live. it plays a halloween film (suitable for kids of course!) and all the kids go in fancy dress. half way through the film the have an intermission and all the kids get an icecream and sweets!

now that sure sounds like fun....I somehow always forget that Halloween is also celebrated over there in England

[Holiday]

We always have a "chili dump" with our neighbors at the lake. We bring our 22 gallon cast iron kettle out to the lake & everybody brings enough chili to cover the # of people eating in their family & we dump it all together in the kettle. Some people dress up, some don't. After we eat we walk up to the little neighborhood bar for their halloween party/DJ. Always fun!! If the weather is good, we want to set up the big screen projector outside & watch the movie Halloween!

Johnor - what a fun idea! That sounds great.

I am just coming home from work that day, putting on my halloween costume, and passing out treats to the kids. This is the first year that I am going to decorate for Halloween, too... I am going to go to Target this week to get some stuff.

Im having a party in my house for the kids. Ive already bought a load of Halloween decos, mainly from the £1 shop (excellent stuff). This will be the first Halloween party ive hosted for the kids as it always use to be over my mothers. Im looking forward to it!!

i forgot to mention that it's a really old fashioned cinema, a proper popcorn machine, old red velvet seats etc... it really adds to the halloween spirit.

Since I don't have class that day, I'm going to spend the whole morning and afternoon baking and cooking food for a party, and getting ready. Then in the evening, put my costume on, pass out candy to the kiddies, then go to a friends halloween party! I'm so excited I can't wait! I think I'm going to go as Mae West this year!

My parents and In-laws are coming over for Pizza as soon as I get home from work. Then it will be my son's 1st year of trick or treating! I dont think he will last very long so then we will be getting out treats of course

Holiday your idea sounds fun!

We usually have friends over and the guys take all the kids trick or treating and I hand out candy.. not sure if thats what is going on this year or not.

i love halloween, i love the eerie feeling in the air and the kid's excited chatter, i also love the cold, crisp weather. it's my second favourite holiday.

This year, our church is hosting a "Hallelujah Night" and we're taking NayNay and going! I can't wait! There will be a hay ride and games and all sorts of really cool stuff!

I'm still not sure if my friends are having a party this year or not. Johnor...sounds like you have your night planned out. I'm sure everyone will have loads of fun....Holiday I love this idea...sounds like a kick butt time, Ravenhardt....can I go with ya? I like Alice Cooper!

I'm sure I'll be hosting a party for each of my daughters class at their school. I'm not certain if we'll be going trick or treating this year as our area has grown quite a bit and theres more and more traffic each year. Maybe we'll just pass out the treats this year.
