Are you Superstitious?

I shake goofer dust around my radio every time I hear a Boy George song to ward off further evil eighties bad vibes.
 
I knock on wood

Black cats - well, depends where you are. In Britain they're lucky!!!!!!!

I won't put hats on beds and go nuts if anyone does

I won't put new shoes on a table

(I inherited the previous two - my mum did those!)

If I see one magpie, I have to find another one ("One for sorrow, two for joy....")

I won't sing before breakfast

Things like not walking under ladders is just common sense

Good Lord, I'm certifiable................!!!!!
 
I am not superstitious at all. I was born on the 13th as well so when it lands on a Friday, I feel lucky! I LOVE all animals so a black cat crossing my path is a good thing for me. I also have a black cat.
 
Not me, I have known people that are, big time. Like the one where your not supposed to open an umbrella indoors, and stuff like that
 
Back in my coaching days and playing days...I was very superstitious....wore same socks....ate the same food...did the same routine as much as I could...used the same ink pens...
 
I am a little....I do the "knock on wood" thingy all the time. I also strongly believe in Karma.

WoW!

I never really heard of those.....

We had company over for dinner a few nights back and my buddies' wife asked me to pass the salt shaker. I was going to hand it to her, but she insisted I put it down. She never did explain, I just assumed it was a superstition.

I was the same way in high school. It was the same routine gameday. Didn't really think of it as a superstition, just routine. Now that I look back...hmmm
 
Yes, I am a wee bit superstitious, I can't help it.

(I also have a touch of OCD.)
 
I am absolutely not....I am not scared of cats...walking underneath a ladder....I love Fridays the 13th........I don´thave the habit of always putting on the right sock before the left and things like that...so no...I´m not
 
YES, im very superstitious!! I always salute to a magpie if i see just one on its own, I never put new shoes on the table, If i spill salt I always throw some over my left shoulder, (I think this is the correct way?) I knock on wood, and theres many many more. A black cat is deemed lucky over here, mo , you are right there but also white cats are lucky too!!

Whoa!! I didn't know there was a way around the magpie thing if you only see one. Salute it, you say????
 
No not at all...
My daughter has a teacher that is nutcase with it. He wont even write the number 13. He wont even go to school on Friday the 13th. strange
