Maybe By Next Christmas is a timely original tune performed by Allison Young and Carson McKee. This is a well written song that resonates well in 2020:
Is it odd to say I’m proud of these two artists?
I hear a song like this that is originally written, that speaks to a hurting world, one that showcases real talent and is produced with outstanding production values, and I just want to stand up and cheer. This is very, very good work.
And it is a darn good song.
What we love about chasing down the best new Christmas music we can find each year are discoveries just like this one. I don’t know who Allison Young is but now she has my attention.
Someone sent us the link, as often happens, and simply said, “Hey – this one’s pretty good”. That started an exploration that took some 3 hours in absorbing ourselves in Allison’s other stuff.
What a talent.
