It's morbid! It's tasteless! And it's back! Our annual New Year's tradition of prognosticating the celebrity dead is now declared open. Post here your thoughts of those who buy the farm in 2014.

Note to the easily offended: this is not for the weak of heart. But this is also not a death wishlist. We don't want these people to die, we just think they will. This is done in good, clean, disrespectful fun and we feel it is our right to extract the full price of celebrity from rich and shameless, even in their demise.

You get ten choices. Who goes?

Here are my picks for stiffs in 2014:

1. Zsa Zsa Gabor
2. Fidel Castro
3. Nancy Reagan
4. Kirk Douglas
5. Bob Dole
6. Billy Graham
7. Hal Holbrook
8. Valerie Harper
9. Dick Van Dyke
10. Don Rickles

Please post yours below.

In adding Jerry Lewis to my list I thought that Jerry Lee Lewis should probably make the cut.

Here's something interesting...

Of the original class of 10 inductees to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 1986, the following are still alive:

Chuck Berry (age 87)
Fats Domino (85)
Don and Phil Everly (inducted as the Everly Brothers) (76 and 74)
Jerry Lee Lewis (78)
Little Richard (81)

Sam Cooke, Buddy Holly and Elvis were already gone. Only James Brown and Ray Charles have died since induction.

I mentioned the living rock n roll pioneers... Take Phil Everly off that list. He died January 3 at age 74.

Are we posting passings here as well, or do we want a different thread for that?
There has already been a few this year
