Hal Kanter passed at the aged of 92. He was a writer on "Pocketful of Miracles," and also wrote comedy material for Bing Crosby and Bob Hope, among others. A very long career as a writer for movies, radio, and television.

Bil Keane passed yesterday. He was the creator of Famiily Circus, a comic with which we really identified as a family when I was growing up. My sisters used to say little Jeffy was modeled after me.

Sad to see him go. What a talent.

MASH used to be a nightly habit for me, too. After the first of the year I think it is time for a reunion. I loved the character of Sherman Potter.

I was sad to hear the news of Harry Morgan. M*A*S*H brings back good memories for me. I use to watch it with my grandfather every night. Now I watch it with my husband who is now a big fan of the show.

Harry Mogan was in one of my all time favorite movies, “The Flim Flam Man”. Morgan played Sheriff Slade.

And who could forget Officer Bill Gannon from the 1960's iteration of "Dragnet"?
