:pumpkin:Do you decorate your home for halloween? I have the cling type decorations on my front window, and I have so many pumpkins, and ceramic figures displayed in my livingroom, and a few things in my computer room/den. I love to decorate with something for every holiday.

I have a TON of stuff for Halloween! My dad works at a cemetery and just loves this time of year, so half of it is mine and half of it is hand-me-downs from him which he gives to me to make room for the new stuff he buys every year. :) I tell hubby that I only decorate for Halloween as practice for Christmas decorating, which is actually sort of true. :D

Yes! I have a light up ghost holding a little pumpkin that goes in my bay window. I usually do more then what I did this year but I also have a few little things outside and the clingys on the front door.

Lots of decorations - outside. I think Halloween is magical for children. Costumes, getting to go out at night with their parents, and go house to house getting candy. I love to encourage those happy feelings.

So - there are lots of nonscary decorations outside - and I will add more between now and Halloween.

Some favorites: An official-looking sign, hung on the telephone pole, which says "Parking for trick-or-treaters only. Violators will be scared away."

On the walkway to the front door, a wreath with non-scary figures. A wooden sign that says "Treats this way" with an arrow. Lots of orange pumpkins (sparkly) on the twig wreath and on the railings. (Soon to be joined by orange pumpkin lights and orange sparkly lights).

Painted cardboard black cats and bats. Fat small stuffed ghosts. Soft fuzzy spiders on sparkly webs. Etc. etc. All spread out along the thick bushes along the street and path.

I have quite a few Halloween decorations. I have a few pumpkin ceramics in various sizes, a scarecrow, Halloween lights, a Casper ceramin light up haunted house and also a Mickey Mouse and Tigger inflatable for outdoors, as well as about 4-5 Halloween signs you stake into the lawn. Now only if the wind would stop blowing everything over! =)

We are decorated for Fall and Halloween inside, but the outside is only covered in leaves.

I don't really decorate for Halloween as much as I decorate for Fall. I usually like to get just a few pieces for Halloween and put them out and then I switch them out for Thanksgiving things. I try to stick to Harvest type stuff like pumpkins, leaves, scarecrows, stuff like that. No outside decorations except for pumpkins, mums and this rustic ladder with Happy Harvest on it and some leaves and pumpkins cut out of wood. I have window clings that are leaves and pumpkins and I put out 2 flags for the fall. I usually do cornstalks but, I didn't this year.
