Hi everyone! I love Christmas--the entire holiday season and, like Mike Claus, I start in early October. Mainly planning and such. I have to get past Halloween before I can start decorating for Christmas since I have kids. I usually start decorating around mid-November. I put up two trees, one artificial and one real. I put the fake one up before Thanksgiving and the real one Thanksgiving weekend or the following week.

My favorite Christmas movie and book is "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. Can't wait for the Jim Carrey version coming out next year (I think)! I love Christmas music and books. I try to totally immerse myself in the Christmas season!

Everything about Christmas is great, that's why I know I'm going to love this site.

Yes, I have two boys who are 14 months apart. My oldest will be 6 in November and my youngest, 5 in January. We're planning to have another child within the next couple of years--we would like to have a girl--so we'll have quite a gap between them. But the boys really want a baby sister, so I think it will be great!
