What's xmas like in OZ then??

It's spring over here at the moment, but when we go into december, it's our summer.....so if you're here in OZ then you would have a warm Christmas! I have a different weather pattern to you because I live in the southern hemisphere. But I guess I'm not that different to you, we still go shopping for presents, go to church, sing carols! But the food at Christmas is different to the Northern Hemisphere. We do still have the turkey or chicken but we do combine it with seafood sometimes or salad instead of having a big roast! But it's still fun! I enjoy it, very much, but I would like to experience a 'White Christmas' someday!:

for me it wouldnt seem like Christmas unless it was cold. Do you make a snowman out of sand instead of snow?? LOL!!cheesy

&I guess that would be possible, yes! To make a sand castle of snowmen! LOL! But I do know in many christmas stores here that you can get some snow fome and put that on your window to create a snowy Christmas. If that counts...hehehe! :yahoo:

I can identify Libbybelle! I live in Orlando, Florida and there are no white Christmases here either. Too warm usually. There are years that we open presents in shorts and there are years we actually have to wear a jacket. So, I am used to a warm Christmas.

Libbybelle, welcome to the MMC sight we have alot of fun here & you get to talk to alot of different people from all over the world. We have had snow here for the past 3 days, not alot just enough to cover the ground, with temps in the 30"s. This is the time of year when the weather here goes crazy one day snow, the next sunny & in the 50"s.
For Christmas we go to church on Christmas eve, then we do all our running on Christmas day.
