Halloween Candy?

I would like some ideas as to what to give out on Halloween instead of candy. I know it sounds mean not to give out candy but since becoming diabetic (type 2) i am concerned about this in children as well as obesity. Any suggestions are welcomed!:boo:

Some things my daughters got this year were
Mini playdough
single serve microwave popcorn
stickers
mini packs of crayons

I thought all those were great! I wish they'd gotten more non-candy items!

You Walmart has all these little do-dads for stocking stuffers. Not all of them are CHristmas related, so after Christmas, we stocked up on them for Halloween.

When we lived in town & had trick-or-treaters, we did Halloween pencils, erasers, stickers, McDonald's certificates, with a little candy in the bags. One year when I was young, we got a dime from one of the local pharmacists. I thought that was cool! You could also give out the mini boxes of raisins. My DD would love to get raisins.
