Hi guys,

I always enjoy the Christmas TV movies from ABC, Hallmark etc.

I am interested to know if there are Halloween network original TV movies that you guys can recommend.

I would appreciate your suggestions if you know of any. I am looking for some fun festive (Halloween) light hearted movies we can all watch as a family.

Thank you!

These aren't all necessarily made for tv, but some that I enjoyed when I was younger as well as some newer ones- all are still enjoyed today.

The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow (Disney cartoon w/ Bing Crosby as the narrator)

Tower of Terror (Disney)

Halloweentown movies (Disney)

The Good Witch (original)

Toy Story of Terror (Disney Pixar)

Hocus Pocus

The Halloween Tree (cartoon)

Roseanne's Tricks & Treats (Halloween episodes from her show)

Scooby Doo (original episodes)

Watcher In The Woods (Disney)

It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

Thanks Stacey, these are all great.

I was wondering though whether ABC/Hallmark did Halloween themed movies like the way they do Christmas movies.

The Good Witch is along the lines of what I was thinking.

I have never checked out the Roseanne Tricks and Treats so I will be sure to look it up. I will be watching the Halloweentown movies in October along with Monster squad!!!

I've never seen any, other than the Good Witch.

Catherine Bell is returning with a Good Witch Halloween movie. I can't wait, as I love the movies and series.

ohh That's sure to be good! I like the Good Witch.

That's a shame they don't do them as they do with Christmas. I mean I don't expect as many but a few would be nice. They do such a good job with Christmas ones :)

I've found a few autumn ones like October Kiss, Harvest Moon and Autumn Dreams etc but i've not watched them yet.

I agree~
I have them on my DVR, as well. I saw bits & pieces of one a few weeks ago, and while it was good, it didn't seem to have enough to do about the season, just a pretty town with pretty Autumn colors =)

Toy Story of Terror (Disney Pixar) (I saw Snowflake post this one). I just bought it in August. Haven't watched it yet!

Yes that's a good one. We watched it for the first time last Halloween. Definaltey a favourite.
There's so many. I have like 30DVDS now just of Halloween "cartoons." And there's still more out there. Of course I love Jason, Freddie, MM and all those movies too.

Oh I came across The Dog Who Saved Halloween. From ABC I think. I've never seen this one. I've seen the Christmas one though.
Interesting! Does it make me a man-child or wuss that I prefer Halloween cartoons over horror movies? (except Michael Myers).

Wuss? Never.
Man child? Yes. :D JOKING :p

I remember years ago my flatmate and I would spend our Sunday nights watching horror movies. I don't so much now apart from a couple favourites during halloween season.

Have you ever seen Wallace and Gromit ? I think you would like it. It's spooky and funny. Check it out .

Wallace and Gromit : A Close Shave
Wallace and Gromit : A matter of Loaf and Death

I will check it out. I grew up watching MM, Jason, Freddie & Chucky. I always found Chucky to be funny not scary. MM always scared me the most.

I have not watched those films for years! I was thinking I may watch Halloween this year.
Halloween I and II are awesome. I like 4 also. The beginning of 2 always creeped me out..watching him go through people's yards hiding in the shadows on Halloween night in the pitch black. Scary stuff!
