Happy Halloween to you too! I can't wait until tonight, my DH and I are helping my sister take her four boys (ages: 4, 3, 2 and 6 months) trick or treating at a local nursing home. It's great, in the main dining area, there is a "haunted house" set up for the kids that you can go through or, because it's pretty intense, you can skip it and go straight to the trick or treating ing. The residents all sit outside their room doors in the hallways and the kids parade through and trick or treat all of them. The residents LOVE seeing the kids come through and passing out the candy, the parents LOVE it because it's a safe, indoor environment, and the kids love it because who doesn't love 100 or so grandparents fawning all over you and giving you candy?
That is a really cute idea. I like that it's safe.
I hope everyone had a great Halloween. My day has been long (just finished up). Took the little one trick or treating. It was great and alot of fun! She got so much candy she was literally dragging her bag. I hope to start taking the decorations down tomorrow and slowly working on getting my Christmas ones up. All my Christmas stuff etc is in a local storage so I have to set a day aside and go over and grab a few boxes and bring them home and go through things. It's alot of work but way worth it. Anyhow...I guess it's time to crash. Have a great night and I'll see ya all around here tomorrow. =)
