I joined just today (Nov 7 at 3 am-ish) I must say I have been reading lots of posts. Christmas is the most wonderful time of year. THe colors and sounds are like no others. :eek: :???: :wiggy: :cool:
 
Great to have you here, jelly! I absolutely agree with you. There's nothing complex about Christmas colors; just a red and green are enough to set off my Christmas spirit.

I just realized I called you jelly instead of jells. I need a laser treatment.

I wonder how red and green became the colors of Christmas? Do we have any history on that. I could see the trees and generating the green but what about the red?
 
LOL Christy Carol. Why did he choose red? Is it cause he looks good in it? Did he look at himself in the mirror and say Smokin!!! :D

Seems like they talked about it in Santa Claus is Coming to Town but I can't recall myself. Personally I like your take on it better!!! :wink:

Actually the official colors of Christmas started with the gathering of the greens and holly berries......
