Hello, my name is Ed and I'm from the UK.
I'd like to wish everyone here a Happy New Year.

I'm very happy to be a member of this site...took me a few days to get registered but I have been reading a lot of posts in the meantime and it is good to know I'm not the only one who loves Christmas so much and hates it when it is over.
However, the fact that I was feeling blue that it was over was the very reason I happened across this site because I went looking for a Christmas forum where people like me hung out! So every cloud does have a silver lining!

I have to confess that I still have my tree up but I know I'll have to take it down Monday.

Well, my best wishes to all and I look forward to keeping in touch with these forums as we head towards another wonderful Christmas Season.

Hello and thank you all all for your warm welcomes.

I sort of have a foot in both camps, the UK and the USA. I live in the UK now but used to work in the USA (New York and New Orleans) and have many good friends there. Unfortunately I never did have a Christmas in the USA but who knows...maybe one day!
