Nice Strat! Looks like your playing through a Fender Hot Rod?
I played for years in a country/rock band in the late 80's through the 90's. We broke up a few year's ago but we I still jam around with a few of the guy's here and there. Back in March last year a friend of a friend invited me to try out for there rock band but I got sidelined. My wife of 18 years suffered a heart attack and passed away. I haven't really been playing much since.
I am slowly getting back to where I will pick it back up every couple of days and strum a little. This site has been fun and uplifting. I hope to add some fun to the community!

The Strat is my baby. I bought her in '88. The amp is a very old Peavey Tweed Classic. You can't beat the old tube sound! We don't play much anymore, either. Everyone is married with kids, and are too busy for gigs.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Stevie. I can't imagine. Hang out here, though, and I bet your spirits will be lifted.
Keep jammin', my friend!
Brad
Thanks for your kind words...
Good news though, my buddy from the band is sitting in for my brother-inlaws band next Saturday and he wants me and another band member to come up and jam on a few songs. So now I need to knock of the rust this week! I'm kinda excited...

Sounds like me, too! We had a request for a short-notice gig in a couple weeks and all the guys agreed that it would work for them. Hot dog! I'm ready to play! cheesy
So have you had your gig yet? I never posted back.
Three us got to jam with the other band on 5 songs. Here's what we did:
