Hello everyone. I introduced myself on here some time ago (I think last summer if I remember correctly) but just have been busy with family, church, and other things in life...that I have forgotten to come on here and check with fellow individuals who also have a love of Christmas and try to keep an excitement for the holiday all year through.

It's funny, I look forward to every Christmas and secretly count down to every season, yet as I sat and reminisced about it...I began wondering to myself...is the idea behind anticipating for every Christmas season merely speeding up my life by focusing on the count down to each season, speeding along the year? The focus of time carbon dates the countdown. I cannot believe we are already into April 2008. It just seemed not too long ago it was Christmas 2007. A few more months from now and we will be closing in on half the year...I begin celebrating Christmas 1 November.

Well, regardless, I just wanted to say hello and re-introduce myself. My name is Danny. 29 years old, disabled veteran hailing from Austin Texas. Look to be coming on here more often. Take care and I hope this finds everyone well.

Hi .. welcome back :welcome:
Hope you´ll have a holly jolly time around here

Hi Danny..
It's nice to have you back on here. Look forward to seeing more of you. Have a great day!

Welcome back! You are coming back at a great time with Christmas in July not too far off :)

Welcome back Danny! I've heard on the weather channel Tx has had some severe weather lately. I hope all is well and look forward to your posts.

Thank you everyone. Parts of Texas has had severe weather indeed, but it is such a huge state that everytime one hears about Texas receiving severe weather, I am always asked that question. I certainly appreciate the concern from those who ask. Truth be told, where I reside we haven't had any severe weather at all. I think sometimes people forget that Texas is such a large state, partly because when they hear about a state receiving bad weather, they relate it to their own state receiving bad weather. I used to be stationed in Delaware for example and the whole state can and will have bad weather at times.

Where I reside, we've had great weather and actually have had some cold nights, reminiscent of December/January typically around here. It was 38 degrees for a low last night. We normally do not see that as a low in April...typically our lows are in the upper 50's/lower 60's. Perhaps that is an effect from the severe weather.

I am looking forward to Christmas in July. Not only is that a signified half way point to Christmas itself, but there are a lot of reasons. I know my wife and I look forward to the Hallmark ornaments at Hallmark each year when they are released, which typically begins in July.

I am glad to see there are a handful of active people on here year round. I am sure this picks up the closer CHristmas counts down every year. I'll look forward to keeping in contact with everyone to keep the magic alive and the spirit bright throughout the year.

Take care and may this find you well.

Welcome to the website we call MMC hope you have a fun time here looking forward and talking to you.
