Thanksgiving was always a special holiday for me, though I didn't look forward to it as a kid as much as I did Christmas, Halloween and Easter, because those involved candy and gifts and costumes. I used to get the big chair in the livingroom and line up all my stuffed animals and watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. My wife made me stop.
