Are you using a specific curriculum? If so, would you care to share what you are using? (:

Good Morning!!

I love home schooling and this is one of my favorite topics!
We're using Horizons Pre-K this year. I was at a Christian bookstore in Tyler, TX and found it. It's a complete kit for a full year's worth of school.
It has everything included except the supplies. We're going to be learning phonics, math, social studies, science, Bible. It is so teacher/mom friendly. I love that because I need all the help I can get! It has a suggested schedule for half day or full day of PreK. It has the lesson plans already written out. It's wonderful!! I've never taught pre-K, but I'm so so so looking forward to this. As well as Nathan!! He's ready to start school right now, but we're going to wait and officially start on Monday. Horizons is published by Alpha Omega Publishers. You can probably do a search online and find their company.

I'm also going to be using their SOS (Switched on Schoolhouse) curriculum on CD Rom for my 10th grader this year. I've already gotten it in and she's so excited!! It has it all on the computer. She will use notebooks and take notes and such, but the program keeps up with grading and report cards, etc. It's WONDERFUL!!!

If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask!!
