Hello all! My name is Sandy (sgrover), I too was a Christmas.com forum user (was closing in on 1100 posts too!), until it suddenly went off the air. So I started searching for a new forum, and found this one. It looks nice and friendly, so here I am to join up!

I live in WI, with my husband, 4 kids (boy 17 (mine), boy 16 (his), boy 14 (his), girl 7 (ours) - but we all live in the same household), and our two dogs. Needless to say, life is never boring. I've been a Christmas nut all my life, I inherited it from my mother, she's as bad as me. But like I always say, "If you have to be addicted to something, Christmas is a good thing be addicted to", right? I work full time for an Insurance Company. My husband and I are Civil War Reenactors, in fact we just celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary in June with a Civil War Era wedding and dance, it was a blast.

I'm looking forward to getting to know more people on here and reading more posts in all my spare time, .

We're excited to have you here. As Jay said, you will want to check out and register at The Xmas Place -- which is our sister forum -- as I think you'll find a lot of the Christmas.com family there (and here). Each place offers something a little different and I'm sure you'll find far more variety than was available to you previously. We're just glad you came here and hope you will stay a while.

I have a strong attachment to the name Sandy, that's my wife's name. Of course, we have never called each other by our first names but I still like to see it in print. Reminds of the old days. In any event, having you around will remind me to watch my P's and Q's.
