While the kids were previewing costumes last night we got into a furious debate about how to say Halloween -- is it HALloween -- with a hard "A" -- or HALLoween, pronounced hall-o-ween?

I say HALL. With me are my 8 year old daughter, my 14 year old son and my ten year old daughter.

My wife says HAL. She's sided with my six year old daughter, my 12 year old daughter and my 16 year old daughter.

Who is right?

I have always said Hal o ween .

Is your wife from Utah or some other state Jeff? I ask because I'm from the north(Indiana ) and have always heard it pronounced Hal o ween.:pumpkin::boo:

I've always said HALLoween.

I like Howloween...

We prenounce it Holoween...The O and L like they are in Golf...

I like to think of it though as the gateway to the really good holidays!

I always thought it was like an empty hot dog casing... y'no...

"hollow weinie" cheesy

C'mon! Someone had to say it!

?

Does not matter...........

The only thing you need to know how to say right is TRICK OR TREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

heheheh
=)

I think I say Hal but now that this was brought up I'm sitting here saying it both ways and can't really remember! I'll have to just say it without thinking about it and get back to you!

Hal...
