Just found out that the classic "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" is airing on the evening of October 31st this year. Yeah, because my kids don't have anything else going on that evening. :-?
It's a family tradition to try and watch that every year. Way to go ABC Network...The theory I'm hearing is that it's due to election coverage eating up a lot of October evenings this year (i.e. the debates, etc), but really, you couldn't find a better time slot? Also, it appears they're only airing "It's the Great Pumpkin", but not "You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown"...usually they air them as a 1 hour special on the same evening...the one year they fail to play it, and it's actually an election year?!?
