I cant wait till I get home from work to put them up!!!Whitechristmas - thank you for the reminder. I am going outside to put some up today too!!!

I was going to get my fall decorations out of the attic this morning before work, but I ran out of time! Maybe tonight I'll have time to get them up!!!

We don't have our fall decoration's up yet either.
October is going to be an active month for me :???::???:
On the 4th we are going to a pancake breakfast at a local church and hitting some big yard sale's
On the 6th I'm going to the local college to hear a Holocaust survivor speak
On the 7th my b/f and I are going to the local college to hear a drum and bagpipe concert
On the 10th we are going to the Jam4The Lamb concert at the park
And on the 26 we are going to the Mountain Makins festival uptown. They do demonstration's of craft's from the early day's,serve pioneer type food and have festive music
I forgot to add that this is all free except for the pancake breakfast and whatever we might buy at the yard sale's.

I was very happy, too, this morning when I realized....Tanja....it´s October....I love October!!!!....ON Sunday Germany celebrates "Erntedankfest"....if You want to translate it...it´s some kind of Thanx Giving....with the religous background of thanking God for food and vegetables and wheats that were reaped.
So I am planning on cooking a nice "Thanks Giving" lunch on Sunday...inlcuding some chicken, mashed potates, gravy, beans and stuff like that....and a pumpkin-cheese pie/cake....looking forward to that already!

Although were miles apart I know what you mean about the wind. It's so windy ,it's more like March then October.
I love October! We are going to a pumpkin patch this weekend! My birthday is on the 13th and I love Halloween! I love the cooler days also! Lots to look forward to and of course it means we are closer to Christmas cheesy

I know what you mean about the rain! I was sooooo wet today!
I was so excited about it being october 1st though I was like AHHHH WOWWW
No one else was excited though and thought I was weird.
But october is the start of something new.
My sisters, my best friends, my mums & older brothers birthdays & halloween in october
Guy fawks night, My eldest brothers birthday then mine(!) in november
and Then december
busy few months ahead of me I think!

I would love to go through a corn maze! I'm afraid I'd get lost and curl into a beatle roll from fright. LOL! I love October too!
