Labor Day

Does anyone have any special plans this Labor Day or Labor Day holiday weekend? My husband's cousin's daughter is 2 weeks older than my daughter, so we're going there Sunday for her birthday party and then on Monday, I am having my family and my husband's family over for a picnic. We'll also have games and a fire later on in the evening. We always do a picnic every year. I'm excited!

I wish I had something interesting to report...but I'm cleaning my house, getting to some projects around the house, and I've got a pile of work I had to bring home from work to do at home. I'm sure I'll find some time to play guitar and do something else fun.

That's a bummer you have to work on work! I have to work every other holiday too - being a nurse, I don't really have much choice, but I wouldn't have it any other way. That is one thing that has been nice about being off with the baby...I've been off most of the summer. I have to go back in a few weeks though - not looking foward to it at all! I will have fun on Monday! Thanks! I hope you at least get to enjoy a little bit of your day!

I have such great respect for nurses. Besides all of the wonderful work you do...my husband's Mom was a nurse (she passed away when my husband was young) and one of my DIL's is a nurse! Enjoy what time you have left!

Thank you! I am sorry to hear that about your husband's mom. I am sure it was hard to loss her at such a young age. I am sure she was a great lady. I do love being a nurse and it's such a rewarding job. It's never the same going to work anyday.

Hope everyone had a great Labor Day today! It rained here all day in Pa. It's supposed to rain all week. A matter of fact, we're supposed to get 6 to 10 inches of rain by the end of the week. They're calling for flood watches and all that. I just hope my crick doesn't overflow! My family had a nice day (inside) because of the weather today, but it was still nice to spend the day together!!!
