Did you know that we have a mobile app?

You don't need to go to Apple or Google to install it. Just bring up the Merry Forums on a browser on your phone or table and select the left menu. When the menu opens you'll see the app install option at the very bottom of the menu:



Likewise, there is a desktop app if for whatever reason you don't want to use a normal browser. To access the download for that, just look for an install icon in the far right of the address bar of your browser. Different browsers show it all differently, but most Chrome based browsers show it in the upper right:



We've tested this a lot. It works. It's fast. And it should work on just about any screen. Plus, the icon to pull up the app is a Christmas tree, so that's merry, right?

I must be an idiot ... the install button on my phone brings up a quick video in three or four frames that is supposed to tell you how to proceed with installing the app, but I still can't figure out what to do. What am I missing?

There should be an "install" button. But it is browser dependent on your phone. If that install button isn't there, maybe try another browser.

Got it on my iPhone...for iPhone users, bring the Forums up in Safari then hit the share button at the bottom of the phone (the square with an arrow pointing up) then scroll until you see Add to Home Screen. This puts the forums on your phone as an app. Just did it myself and it works great.

This may sound odd, but I am using a Samsung Galaxy A9+ tablet with the chrome browser and there is no menu button to select. I installed the app on my phone ( a Samsung S24 Ultra) with no issues. Has anyone else experienced this?
