My Long Winded Hello

Well Hi there, im Goleafsgo5 ( Toronto maple leafs fan) aka George.

Im a holiday junkie the best thing about halloween is that I can start getting christmas stuff out without anyone thinking im to nuts.... lol

This holiday will be perticulary special all have been but this one will be super special, Im marrying my high school sweetheart of 5 years ( shes 20 im 21) we bought our house and were getting married on November the 17th exactly our 5th annivarsry. So this will be our frist christmas at our house im a christmas junkie and she is a holiday girl but im just nuts.

So were haveing both familys over and doing a big christmas dinner we took a week off work before the wedding to move into the house and put all christmas stuff up before we zip off to cuba for a week for the honeymoon its just very important that i come home to my christmas spirit I wait all year for it lol.

So i was counting the days till christmas the other night when i was blessed enough to find all of you wonderful folks with the same christmas addiction as i have ( from november to january its xmas songs for 2 months day in day out) I hope i get alot of decor ideas and pitch some in as well i will take some pics fo the decor and the house all done up and post them!!!!!!

With all that said im sorry i know this was really really long but im just exicted about my wedding christmas and now this place for christmas all year round:hello: im happy to be here!!!!!!!!!

I remember our first Christmas together, it was great. We were married over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.

My cousin married her Junior High sweetheart and they've been together and happy for about sixteeen years.

Hi there!!!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I'm a Registrar here in Scotland (I register all the births, deaths and marriages in the area) and I absolutely love doing weddings at Christmas. Gives me a chance to really go to town. The fact that the couple choose that time of year to get married means that they love the season as well so it makes it really special for everybody. I usually have the room decorated with candles and white lights on the two small trees with silver decorations. That way, whatever colours the bride chooses, work perfectly.

Would love to see some pictures afterwards (she hinted subtley!!)
