Adam Kennedy - "Fruitcake from the Drive-Thru"
Last year I released a full-length, album-oriented, original Christmas comedy record with zero spoofs and zero "Christmas hating bummer tunes." It was titled "Literally Shrunk Down and Living in my Christmas Village." After the long painstaking process of writing and recording all 16 songs for that album I said I was done for the foreseeable future.
Jump cut to this year where I failed to muzzle that yuletide creative monster from opening its festive mouth and spewing a thick rope of red and green bile.
Here are two, count 'em TWO brand new songs! No, this is hardly an album, but hey at least I'm against the recent trend of artists re-releasing their Christmas albums as "deluxe" editions with a couple of extra crap songs scotch taped to the end.
I guarantee this will never be hastily hot-glued onto anything, "It's its own thingy." Consider this an A side and a B side.
I hope these songs give you a laugh or at least change your life.
