I know exactly how you feel about wanting to make every holiday special for your daughter - I have 2 of my own and trying to do this too.

One thing I do at Christmas is put all the kids' Christmas books in a Christmas bag (might start wrapping them this year, as we have too many for the big bag now) and then when Advent starts, we sit down by the tree and with the tree lights on we read one or two Christmas bed time stories. We've been doing this for 3 years now and it's a big hit! They really love it.
