I didn't watch the first one because of what I heard - and when we went to the movie theatre recently...I couldn't even watch the previews of the second one! Far too scary for me!

the thing with these is that i thought the first one was real until i looked it up and they were just actors.i mean dont get me wrong it was still crazy the way they did it and made it seem real but the second one as much as u would want to see it u know its not real.and i really dont like movies that try and do that look that makes it look like it was really recored by someone that isnt an actor.that it was really recorded at that time.thats just like the movie that is coming out.the last excorisum.(however u spell it)but i would still see it.
You are all going to think I am really crazy with this post. As far as paranormal activity in general, I am in. (I don't know about the trailer above) I witness it all the time. Ever since my first husband passed away in this house there have been EXTRMELY peculiar happenings. Not anything frightening, just peculiar and mischievous. These things always seem to happen to my second husband when I am upset with him.......but sometimes have happened at other times as well. Sorry this was so long...But that's my take !! cheesy
I don't have a problem with paranormal activity of a ghostly nature...I grew up on what we called the "haunted farm"....
BUT Paranomal Activity was not about ghosts but a demon....TWO entirely different things altogether....

Since I do run a haunted tour site, etc, I am pretty much a beleiver in the paranormal. Don't ask me to define it, but there is some type of energy crossover out there, whether it be ghosts or whatever. I've seen and experienced some strange stuff.......
Is your haunted tour site in Charleston? Maybe we could get together when we come back for another vacation.
I don't know why DH watches scary movies, because he ends up standing up in the middle of the bed screaming during the night! To me, they are usually so predictable that I'm laughing. He "made" me watch PA one with him and I was hiding my face under the blanket/watching the movie at the same time in some parts. From our bed, I can see into our living room and I was a little freaked out for a couple of nights afterward. DH & I won't say there aren't "ghosts" because we don't really want a visit from one if they are real---friendly or not.
I don't want to see it in the theater, so maybe he'll just let me watch it at home when it's out on DVD, so I can scream in private!
