I can’t believe I’m writing this. Our friend Jessica (lilnoelelf) has passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Her and I couldn’t have been more different. She lived in Louisiana and I’m Canadian. Her and I were on different ends of the political spectrum. She was steadfast in her faith and I consider myself to be non religious. But despite all of that, we shared a deep love for all things Christmas. None of the things above that should have stopped us from being friends in the first place, mattered. The holidays brought us together and we formed such a beautiful friendship.
I haven’t been on here in probably a couple years. Motherhood has been all encompassing for me. But when I got the news that she had passed, immediately I knew where I had to go. Back to the place where our friendship blossomed. Here. So with a heavy heart, I leave my goodbye here for her. A place we love dearly. Where I’ll hold onto the memories. I love you Jess.
