We usually eat between 1 and 2 and then we spend the rest of the day going over the black friday ads and planning our strategy for the next morning. When we get hungry we just have leftovers for dinner.
:thanks:WE go to myu sister's house for thanksgiving, and we usually go by 12:30, when we get there she always has a nice selection of appetizers. Dinner is usually by 2pm, then she makes coffee, and have dessert usually by 4pm.
This will be my first year without any invited guests. My family of 4 are just having dinner at home. My husbands family always waits for the last minute for someone to decide to host. So this year, I am cooking at home but not hosting. Dinner will be around 3 or 4 or so I hope. I hope to have everything cleaned and put away by 7. No sit down formal dinner. Kinda buffet style and dessert can be all night as far as I'm concerned. I wanna be in bed by 8 to see Miracle on 34th street in full for the first time. Then gotta get up at 3am for black friday shopping. cheesy
We go to my mom's every year. She is up by 430am to put the turkey in the oven. Everything is usually ready by 11:30. We usually eat about 12. No later than 12:30 though. Then we used to go to Big K later in the afternoon but it closed this year so I don't know what we'll do.
Its Thanksgiving dinner for us. We spend all day cooking and preparing that about time everything is done its about 5 or 6pm so its time for dinner anyway. uuuuummmmm I can smell the Turkey and fixings now!:served:
We have some crackers & cheese starting around 11 pm or 12... Dinner/Lunch is served at 2pm-ish. Pie and cookies at around 3:30pm and then we head home and usually have a small snack around 7pm. Mmm.. I cant wait for stuffing!
