In a goofy way Son In Law (Pauly Shore) is a Thanksgiving movie my wife and I watch.
If you can find it Mouse on the Mayflower an old Rankin-Bass cartoon

This is actually a Christmas movie but I am more in the mood to watch before Thanksgiving. A Miracle on 34th Street only because it starts out on Thanksgiving Day with the Macy's parade.

The Walton's have a Thanksgiving movie but I never seen it. I bet it would be a good one though.

As far as children's animated ones, my favorite is Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles is wonderful Thanksgiving movie, my favorite but beware if you don't like bad language especially the airport scene where Steve Martin has to walk because his rental car is not there. I usually mute this scene he has with the lady behind the counter, they didn't need to have those curse words flooding out of his mouth but that's Hollywood, they think everyone talks in this manner. NOT!

Plains trans and automobiles is my favorite TG movie, although Its been a while since I have seen it. Home alone is kind of my families tradition to watch the night of thanksgiving. This year on the Hallmark channel there is a new thanksgiving movie that comes on this sat(6th at 9 pm) to be exact. I forget the name but I have read the description and it looks like it could be a good one.
