Has anyone started thinking of what they'll be handing out at Halloween time? I've kind of been thinking about it a little bit...mainly because I've got some coupons for stuff I gave out last year. I was a little overzealous and got a bunch of stuff. I even got treats for the poor little ones who are made to wear costumes and go out in the cold while big brother or big sister gets all the booty!

Some of the stuff I had was:

Candy (naturally)
Kool-Aid single serve drink mixes
Stickers

For the wee little ones I had:
Gerber single serve drinks
Puffs (in pre-packaged bags)
Fruit strips
Fruit snacks

This year, I might do some juice boxes and also some fruit snacks such as roll-ups, etc.. Hopefully I can find some coupons to help lower the cost. Then again, since I'm in a new neighborhood, I might just go strictly candy to see how many trick-or-treaters we get and then adjust for next year. Hmmm...something to think about. Good thing I've got a few months yet! LOL

I usually buy a bag of something we like just in case..we don't get any trick or treaters at my house.

I will be handing out the small snack bags of chips, pretzels, popcorn, etc...they were a huge hit last year, and they were cheap.

I agree with xmaslilly, I get something I like so whatever is extra it's mine!!! I call it grown up trick or treatin!!!
