What can we do about Christmas.com?

Folks,

I'm still getting blasted about the Christmas.com situation. And basically it comes down to this: there really is nothing we can do. Life on the Internet changes in an instant. That's the reality.

I will continue to attempt to contact them, to work with whoever owns it now. And if I hear any news, we'll post it. But at this point, I think it is time to move on.

I posted this earlier on another topic...but it holds true...You are 100% right Jeff...We must move on...I'm just glad we have you on our side!!! Thanks again for your efforts on behalf of we Christmas.com orphans!!! It's really nice to have a new place to call home!!!

It's business, plain and simple...We got lucky!!! Think about those poor families whose bread winner loses his job due to "business". I don't fault them for wanting to make a profit...I guess I fault them for not at least announcing the change, giving us the chance to make other arrangements. We all work for companies whose goal is to make a profit and that profit is what puts food on our tables. The folks at Bronners make a profit but they do so never losing sight of the reason for the season and that they offer some happiness to people in the process...I guess it's the attitude that goes with the making of a profit that is the rub.

I wish them well, those new owners of Christmas.com. Perhaps they will realize what they've got and expand what they are offering and perhaps they won't. But for a time, about two years, the site was a daily part of my life. I'll miss it but the spirit of Christmas will prevail!

Jeff I've said this before as well, all from christmas.com need to move on. Yes that can be difficult, as they are a family. we here @ MMC are a family as well and all of us hear wan't to welcome them as new members to our family. So please register today and join in on our family conversation. :welcome: :-D

I am embarrassed to say this, but I’ve never been to Christmas.com (and I’ve been on the Internet before there were pictures! Ha!). But I was very happy to just recently find this site though!
