I know, I know....what leftover candy? In case you DO have some candy leftover, here's an idea I saw in a magazine

Leftover chocolates, including bars with nougat or nuts, can be used to make treats to freeze and save for later holiday gatherings or for gift-giving. Simply whirl the candy in a blender and roll scoops of the mixture in your palms to form balls. Put the truffles in a resealable plastic bag filled with hot cocoa powder, chopped nuts or coconut.

I know I am going to try this.

I could give everyone my address and I can take care of any and all extra Halloween candy.

:???:

BF only buys what he likes. That way whatever is left over he will eat it.

i dont understand why youre zapping the candy bars..... just put em in the freezer. then thaw em out b4 halloween next year.

yeah like THAT'S going to happen!!!

:D

If I zap them and make truffles for others, then I won't eat them. I'm trying NOT to eat them.

you have more willpower than I

well here is a question. I don't know how you couldn't eat all of the leftover candy. I mean I will eat all of it in a heartbeat.

well i always buy 1 bag of candy just in case we do get any ToTers but no we didnt get any (prob only 6 in the 10 yrs we lived here) so i buy what the hubby likes and he eats it here and there or ill take it to work.

Hmm... my mom usually brings it to work with her so she shares it with her workmates (not really sure what to say there)

not to be rude but I would just keep the bowl under my bed and eat it every night as a midnight snack.

It's not really being rude... it's what you do and I do something different. I'm really not much of the candy person anyway.
