I know some people are already spotting Halloween stuff around town, but for me, I recently saw my first sign of Halloween: at the local "Party City" (a year round party decorations store), with the 4th of July festivities out of the way, they are quickly putting out their Halloween costumes! Halloween is slowly overtaking the store!

So what's your first sign of Halloween 2014?!?

EDIT: In retrospect, I wish I had gotten a picture of the adult costumes section, but it wasn't set up nearly as much just yet, and besides, that's where I bought the costume for my little girl last year!

I saw some Halloween knick knacks & wooden signs at a local gift store last weekend! And also at Hallmark, with a few ornaments & statues. Michael's also had one shelf out. So exciting!

Nothing yet, I suspect Poundland will be the first over here they usually are. Most big stores will probably wait till back to school promotions are over before going Halloween.

God bless poundland ;)

I think the big supermarkets will start the start of September, I remember the masks etc being out really early last year.

I saw some goodies at the 99 Cent Store and in the Cracker Barrel gift shop. Cracker Barrel has some really nice stuff!

AC Moore has more and more out every week! We go every Wednesday for crafting and last week, they had almost an entire aisle out. Yay!!!

Snow-in-Texas and I saw this in a little shop located in a historic downtown district today. I was excited to see Halloween items out!
