Mr. Westover, before anything else, I want to say again how sorry I am for your loss. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I also want to thank you for your honesty and bravery with letting us know what’s been going on. I know that isn’t easy.
We both know that depression is a beast, and it’s so easy to blame yourself when you’re dealing with it. Please know that none of this is your fault.
Admittedly I have not been too active on MMC, but I am very active on all of the North Pole websites. Let me tell you, you have done such a wonderful job of keeping the magic of Christmas and Santa Claus alive for believers and elves of all ages. To know that you’ve been helping maintain those sites at such an extraordinary level, even while you’ve been suffering so much, just floors me. You are a far cry from Scrooge, sir— you’re quite the opposite of Scrooge. I truly cannot thank you enough for all that you do and how you’ve enriched my life.
And please— while I’m no stranger to mental health issues of my own, if you need help with anything at all on any of these sites, MMC included, please feel free to reach out. I’ll give it my all, just like you do.
