Irish People Eat American Christmas Foods

Funny how the world sees you. In this video a few folks from Ireland try traditional American Christmas foods — things like eggnog and pumpkin pie. Their reactions, as you might imagine, are something to see:

I lived in Ireland for 4 years and found there was a mixture of Irish/British and American.

True, there was no eggnog or pumpkin pie, but you did eat turkey (whether that is a long standing tradition, I don’t know). Cranberry sauce, mash potatoes were common. I did pick up a tradition called “mulled wine” which is very good especially if you are sick.
