The Dallas-based retailer’s top gift this year is The House of Creed Bespoke fragrance journey, priced at $475,000. For that amount of money you and a guest can travel to France to meet with the fragrance designer who will come up with your own stink. Imagine the possibilities.
Coming in as the second-highest priced fantasy gift item is the Vanity Fair Academy Awards Experience, priced at $425,000. The purchaser will spend three nights at the Peninsula Beverly Hill Hotel, have drinks at the Sunset Tower and have dinner at Chateau Marmont. The package also includes a trip to the Vanity Fair party; hair, makeup and wardrobe styling by Neiman Marcus style adviser Catherine Bloom and jewelry on loan for the evening.
The fantasy gift section wouldn’t be complete without something shiny, fast and on four wheels. This year Neiman Marcus is offering the 100th anniversary Neiman Marcus limited-edition Maserati Ghibli S Q4. The 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine was produced in collaboration with Ferrari and goes from 0 to 60 miles per hours in 4.7 seconds. The car is priced at $95,000.
