Logan Trading Post series. We always go there to eat at the Seaboard Cafe for lunch the first Saturday in December. It's also where we get our poinsettia each year. Used to get our tree there but the prices got too high so we go elsewhere for that.
1) Building exterior, always decorated for Christmas every year. This used to be a train station and the trains still pass behind it daily.
2) Santa stands guard over Logan's extensive poinsettia inventory!
3) Another shot. Logan must have close to a thousand poinsettias to choose from.
4) Elegantly decorated tree to display ornaments for sale.
5) Collection of artificial trees for sale. They have an extensive collection of natural ones outside. Hundreds of them. But the prices are too high. They have 8 footers for $70 each but we found some just as nice the same size for $35 elsewhere.
Gorgeous photos everyone ~
Finally got a tree up and decorated. We decided we’re keeping the decorations to a minimum this year due to a very naughty puppy lol. I’m sure we’ll be able to put everything out again next year!
We return to the mall where it's Macy's vs Belks to see who can have the skimpiest decorations. The glory days of the past are over and in recent years I have had to search for signs of Christmas.
Nevertheless, there are some:
1) Macy's continues their "Believe" theme from last year.
2) Oh, look. More red balls and a few small trees have been spotted!
3) That's a little better. Now, I'm seeing a bit of Christmas spirit from the store who sponsors the Christmas Parade.
4) Kids can mail their Santa letters at this mailbox.
