    Tsar Alexander III received the Danish Palaces Egg from Faberge's shop on March 30, 1890. He presented the egg to Tsarina Marie Feodorovna on April 1, 1890.

    The Twelve Monograms Egg was made in 1896. It is covered by six panels with the Imperial Crown and Imperial monograms MF for Marie Feodorovna and AIII for Alexander III.
