It is calming, and will help you relax, so you can sleep better.

If you read this article, toward the bottom there are ways lavender essential oil can help you sleep.
I have used both a diffuser, and made my own mixture to spray on our bedding. I know some people who actually apply it directly to their pulse points. If you decide to try that make sure to do a skin test first.

Thank you my friend, I appreciate this a lot. I'm going to give it a try.

My SIL had woken up earlier this week with some abdominal pains and after awhile, the pain kept on getting worse and worse to the pint where she asked my brother to take her to the hospital. At the hospital, they discovered that she had an 7" diameter tumor on her one ovary. They operated on her yesterday (Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore) and removed it successfully and while also she had a hysterectomy while they were there.

The great news, is that it was not cancerous. She is in the hospital recovering, but doing well and is in good spirits.

Well, well, well.
Look at what's about to open at Crabtree Valley Mall!
It's getting toward that time of the year again, folks.

(And if history repeats, a certain other shop will be taking its place in early November!)

Weekend. Part II is here, Friends!
I hope it has started out well for you and will finish even better.

This might help in that regard:
Days to the Season: 86
Days to Christmas Day: 128

And if that doesn't do the trick, our latest Milestone data surely will.
Because we are now down to UNDER a week away from the 2/3 marker to Christmas Day!
(Time is flying away like dry leaves before the wild hurricane, Folks.)

Well, I completed all of the yard work I had planned yesterday before a hard early evening rain began to fall, accompanied by rolling thunder. More fell overnight.
Today might be rainy as well, with a 40 percent chance of precipitation.
We have commenced activities here in the capital city very damp, at 73 degrees.

Hey! Halloween Zone is just about to open at Crabtree Valley Mall, as we edge ever closer to the holiday season. (See photo posted above.)

Have a Super Sunday, Everybody!
Enjoy the remainder of your weekend.

Good morning! I hope everyone had a great week. Our week was very busy as all of our kids came back to school. It was so good to have them back.

I know we get summers off, but I didn't go to school to spend three months in an empty building. I am always ready for school to start back and this year was no exception.

We went to Lowe's last night....and what did we see? Halloween everywhere!!!!

It's coming, yall!

Been radio silent for a little bit. Busy with work. Today, though, one task is getting some bread made. I think honey oatmeal loaf is in the works. I have to mow the backyard and if I have time I'll make some cookies. Chocolate chip is the default 'cause they're quick and delicious. :)

Picked up some school supplies to donate. One of our local charities collects supplies and makes backpacks for children whose families may have a tougher time preparing for the new school year. That way everyone can have a fresh start with brand new supplies.

I remember feeling a little excited sitting in class with my new pencil case, usually cloth plaid, having all my pencils sharpened. I was eager to start. I think that feeling is similar to the joy and excitement of Christmas. That's why I donate supplies. It's my way of giving the same Christmas excitement to someone who may not have the chance.

Merry Sunday friends!
It finally cooled off here, it’s going to be cloudy with temperatures in the mid 70’s. We’re currently at 67 degrees, I have the sliding glass door open in the back of the house and the cooler air feels nice. The kitty cats are bird watching and loving it. I’m just having a cup of coffee and relaxing for a few minutes. I already straightened up the house and started laundry. I fried meatballs and have a pot of sauce simmering. Dinner will be lasagna. Not too much else going on here, it should be a relaxing day. My oldest & her fiancé will be here for dinner so I’m looking forward to that. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
xx

Hi friends,
Enjoyed catching up with you all this weekend, sounds like the cooler weather will be making its way over soon! I've been very sad this weekend... My sisters 17 year old springer passed away this weekend, she was like our second dog we often watched her while they were out of town. Even though she was older she loved chasing Gandalf around, they were best friends. We will miss her so much and I know Gandalf will too. Today i'm defrosting some cookie dough from the freezer and bringing them over warm cookies, flowers, and I made some prints of the dogs playing together. My little nephew who is 5 really misses his pup too.

We’ve had a run of pets leaving us at MMC recently. Always sad. My condolences go out to your family.

So sorry to hear about your sister's dog. I had a Springer growing up and he was such a great dog.

Oh, so sad, sorry to hear. They are our fur BABIES.
Warm cookies and flowers, what a lovely gesture.

Wow, that's scary! Thank the Lord she's going to be ok!
