Good Monday MMC! I only work 3 days this week and then have my little August vacation. REALLY looking forward to it and just getting myself ready for the Bers. Doesn't seem real but it is so we better all accept it and start focusing on it coming. Have a great Monday!

A new week has begun.
A week that will see us overtake and pass another Milestone marker on the way back to our holiday of choice.

Let's shock ourselves awake this morning with a look at the latest numbers.
Days to the Season: 85
Days to Christmas Day: 127

Not fully awake, yet?
Well consider this:
In just FIVE days, we will have completed two out of three quarters of our voyage back to Christmas!
(I'll bet you're awake now.)

Lots of heavy rain last night has once again left us soaked and soggy.
Today, the weather service says we have about a 50/50 shot at more, and it's overcast to start things off here this morning.
The current temperature reading is 72 degrees.

Good morning friends & happy Monday!!!!
Had a nice quiet evening last night, the rain came down hard, lots of thunder and lightning. I put on a hot pot of lentil soup topped with lots of Parmesan cheese and fresh crispy bacon, YUM! Not much going on here today... walked with the pup early this morning for an hour and I was surprised when a brave friendly kitty ran up to say hello to Gandalf lol! She was adorable. Gandalf was very curious, he hasn't seen many other kitties besides Autumn!

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

Jacob called me between classes this morning to tell me that he went grocery shopping yesterday afternoon. He was complaining about how expensive groceries are LOL! He bought Ramen Noodles, cereal, milk, waffles and syrup...all the nutrition a growing young man needs.

The rain is supposed to hold off for a few days, so maybe things will dry out a bit.

It’s going to be cloudy today with a high of 75 degrees. Not too much going on here this morning, I'm just working on some chores around the house. I’m going to look at apartments later this afternoon, my youngest and her fiancé have decided to move in together. My babies are all flying the coop. Not sure how I feel about it. Wish I could turn back the clock!

Thank you Holiday. They are best of buds, always running thru the house playing chase and playing pounce on the other kitty with each other. When they are not in the same room, they go looking for each other. We were so blessed to of had them adopt us!

So sweet!! And do they chase each other all over the house in the middle of the night?? My friends cats sound like they are crazy in the middle of the night!

Hi friends! I’ve been MIA the past couple weeks, I know, but my family and I have been busy - camping and do other various things together. The kids go back to school a week from tomorrow.

I could use some prayers for tomorrow. I have a job interview, which will take me on a slight different path then what I am used to, but it’s still in nursing. I would be all daylight, no weekends, or holidays, which as my kids get older, I want more and more. If they offer me a job, it’s mainly go to depend on pay and benefits, but we’ll see how it goes!

I hope all is well with each one of you! Hope you’ve all had a great weekend!
