Ahhhh yes, It's Monday once more.

You know what the hardest part of the week is, it's that moment, when the alarm clock goes off in the morning, uggghhhh. Then, the next part, is trying to get up out of bed. That in itself, is an adventure; lol!

This morning, I was a total bed sticker. Oh yea, it was like someone glued me to the sheets and I had to do everything in the world to pry myself up from them. As the days in the week go by, it gets easier and easier to do it, but the day after a weekend of sleeping in, taking naps and lounging around the house, oh it's so tough to turn it around.
But when it's behind you, it feels so nice....

Totally can relate!!! My hubby had an extra "super" Monday today, having to get back to reality after a week off!

Well, the bread and the chocolate chip cookies were made, but I didn't mow the backyard. We went apple picking instead. We were checking out the local farms and found an apple farm which had a variety already ripe for the picking. It's a variety called the Melba is comes ripe in mid August. The flesh is tart, but soft. Great for making applesauce, or apple butter, or a soft pie. So that's what I did. We picked up about five pounds worth of apples and I used some of them to make a nice pie. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but it smelled lovely. I just have to pick up some ice cream. :P

Sounds like a great day!!! Enjoy the pie!!!

Love them!! They put on such amazing shows!!
YES! They do!! I know I've said this before but it was something we always did with my brother & sil - since they are both gone, it's just not the same! Might have to find a new venue or something!

That's too bad :( I can understand where you're coming from, though.

We went just about every year we lived in Las Vegas. I miss it!

We went many years in a row!! It was the only time of year we would see our sil! She was a bit of a hermit! (to put it mildly) My bro helped w/ the architecture of the venue we always watched them at, so he could always get us excellent seats! So, so fun!!
